// What I Deliver

Services.

Six service areas. Every one delivered with the rigour you'd expect from a senior in-house hire — at a fraction of the overhead.

01
Fractional Product Management
Core Service

The flagship service. You get an embedded senior product lead without the cost, politics, or overhead of a full-time hire. I take over the workstreams we agree on, own them completely, and give you weekly visibility into everything moving.

// What's Included
  • Day-to-day factory and vendor communications (email, WeChat, phone)
  • Full project management board setup and maintenance (Monday.com)
  • Weekly or biweekly client status calls with written updates
  • Direct factory access — you always retain full visibility
  • Concurrent program management across multiple product lines
  • Monthly retainer model with 30-day notice to cancel
02
Factory Sourcing & Vendor Management
Far East

Finding the right factory is one of the hardest problems in hardware. I've been building Far East relationships since 2012 — I've sourced the factory behind GoPro, visited factories across Shenzhen and Shanghai, and I know what a bad tooling quote looks like before I open it.

// What's Included
  • Factory identification and vetting — including on-site audits before deposits
  • RFQ preparation, vendor comparison, and negotiation
  • Comprehensive factory visit reports and vendor assessments
  • Alternative vendor identification and dual-track sourcing strategies
  • Component change control — no factory-side changes without sign-off
  • Transparent relationships — client retains all vendor contacts
03
New Product Development (NPI)
End-to-End

From the first brief to a factory-ready product. I've coordinated with world-class ID firms including Ammunition (SF), Branch Studio (SF), and Mars Studio (Brooklyn). NPI is where every workstream converges — managed as one program.

// What's Included
  • MRD (Marketing Requirements Document) co-development with the client
  • Industrial design coordination with world-class ID studios
  • CMF (Color, Material, Finish) direction and management
  • Packaging design and development
  • Engineering coordination and feature/spec management
  • Certification pathway: FCC, CE, UKCA, and regional compliance
04
Quality Assurance & Production
FCC / CE

QA isn't a checklist — it's a conversation with the factory floor. Problems caught at sample stage cost nothing. Problems caught after a container ships cost everything. I put eyes on every critical sample before mass production.

// What's Included
  • ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) creation and documentation
  • Spec review sessions with vendors, with documented action items
  • Physical sample review — CMF, packaging, materials, fit/finish
  • Third-party factory audits and pre-shipment inspections
  • Regulatory and certification coordination (FCC, CE, UKCA)
  • Customer feedback review and spec improvement tracking
05
IoT & Connected Device Strategy
Connected

IoT is a system, not a feature. The platform decision you make on day one will shape your product roadmap, vendor relationships, app costs, and user experience for years. I help brands make that decision right — and build the team and architecture to execute it.

// What's Included
  • IoT platform strategy: Tuya, Star, Matter, custom front-end, or hybrid
  • Connectivity architecture recommendation and documentation
  • App strategy: in-house, white-label, or partner ecosystem
  • IoT team structuring — roles, locations, and vendor relationships
  • Edge AI integration (Hailo, Espressif, ESP32 family)
  • Protocol selection: Matter, Zigbee, BLE, WiFi, cellular
06
Tradeshow & Launch Strategy
CES Ready

A product launch at CES without the right PM is a very expensive lesson. I've managed CES programs from booth concept through day-one floor execution. You focus on the product. I make sure it shows up on time and looks right.

// What's Included
  • Booth concept development and design agency coordination
  • Production timeline management aligned to show date
  • Staffing plan, onboarding, and show-floor logistics
  • CES floor plan analysis and location strategy
  • Interactive demo coordination and product staging
  • Post-show debrief and roadmap integration

How It
Works.

01
Scope & Align

We map your product roadmap, identify the gaps, and define what I own. No vague deliverables. Every engagement starts with a signed SOW and clear accountability for every workstream.

02
Embedded Retainer

Monthly retainer. I own the agreed workstreams — factory comms, QA, sourcing, development — and you get a weekly pulse on everything in motion. No surprises.

03
Full Transparency

You always have direct visibility into vendor relationships, production status, and every decision. All vendor contacts remain yours. I don't obscure your supply chain.

04
On-Ground When Needed

Some problems can't be solved over email. When the program calls for a factory floor visit, I go. Shenzhen, Shanghai, wherever. Travel billed at cost.

02
Project-Based

For defined, time-bounded engagements — a factory audit, an NPI sprint, a CES launch. Scoped and priced per deliverable.
